woofPOD Setup & Troubleshooting

Quick setup

Download the Smart Life app
The woofPOD is controlled through Smart Life.
- iOS — download from the App Store
- Android — download from Google Play
Add the device
Open Smart Life and tap Add Device. Choose Small Home Appliances, then scroll to Pet Feeder with Camera (2.4GHz & 5GHz).
Check the indicator light
The light on the woofPOD should be blinking blue. If it isn’t, see troubleshooting below. Tap Confirm when it is.
Connect to WiFi
Enter your network details. The woofPOD works on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Tap Proceed.
Scan the QR code
The app displays a QR code. Hold your phone up to the woofPOD’s camera until you hear the confirmation tone. Keep the code steady and fully in frame.
Wait for pairing
A two-minute timer runs while the app and the woofPOD connect. Leave both alone until it finishes.
Name it
Rename the device to woofPOD and tap Done. That’s it — you can now watch, talk, and dispense treats from anywhere, and connect it to your smart home.

Setup walkthrough · woofPOD

Light isn’t blue: Confirm the woofPOD is powered on and plugged into a live outlet. Check your router is in range. Restart the woofPOD and run setup again.
QR code won’t scan: Increase your phone’s screen brightness, hold it about eight inches from the lens, and keep it still until you hear the tone.
Pairing times out: Move the woofPOD closer to the router for setup, then reposition it afterwards. Confirm you entered the WiFi password correctly.
