Returns: 30 days, unused and in original packaging. Return freight is the customer’s responsibility — for the Den expect roughly $200, as it ships by freight rather than parcel. Keep the original carton if you think you might return it (a 10% restocking fee applies without it). If it arrives damaged or defective, we cover it.
The Den is a wooden dog crate designed to live in the open. It doubles as an end table, with one sliding door on the front panel and a secure lock. The right side of the door slides to the left, so nothing swings into the room.
Built like furniture
Each Den is handcrafted in the USA from furniture-grade Baltic birch plywood and hand-stained in small runs. The Oak finish is designed to sit comfortably beside a sofa, chair, or bed.
A dog crate end table, nightstand or side table
At 34.5 in tall with a flat top, the Den works as an end table beside a sofa, a nightstand next to the bed, or a side table in a reading corner. Put a lamp, books or a plant on top; your dog gets the room underneath. Because the front door slides (the right side moves left), it can sit tight against a sofa arm or bed frame without leaving swing space. Choosing a size? Dog fit: Fits many dogs around 40–85 lb, such as a Labrador or Golden Retriever. Measure tall, lean breeds before ordering: dogs over about 90 lb or 36 in long (nose to tail base) are too big.

Will it fit?
Measure your dog’s length (nose to base of tail) and sitting height, add 4″ to each, and compare with the interior dimensions below. A crate can be roomier than your dog — the only exception is a puppy still being housetrained, who does better with a snug space or a divider.

These dogs are comfortable in it. The extra space is only a problem for a puppy still being housetrained — block off a portion with a divider until they’re reliable.

Tall, lean breeds sit higher than their weight suggests. A 65 lb Greyhound can sit 32–34″ — at or above the interior height. Measure B before ordering.
